Little boy Pera doesn't have a grandfather, so his friend Uffe shows him where he can find one; a nursing home. Grandpa Nils ends up on a surprising adventure with the boys when he runs away from the nursing home with the boys to fly a kite and climbs the neighbor's tree to catch cherry thieves.

Based on the classic book by Ulf Stark, this warm and touching story tells of the friendship between two little boys and their grandfather, the meeting of generations, sorrow and love. The performance is suitable for ages 7 and up. It is especially recommended to see the show with a grandparent.
