TIPTOP WALKERS (FI)

Super Sale

Super Sale is a contemporary circus performance about the adventure of two determined saleswomen in their own magical sphere of beliefs and egos, where the 1950s collide with the present day. These proper super-saleswomen are fully committed to their work and ready to sell their products even while standing on their heads. The piece explores overconsumption and material hysteria, but does so with a comedic touch.

The scenes and circus-based movement material are combined with vacuum-cleaner-salesman-style product demonstrations featuring exercise equipment, household gadgets, and workout programs “designed by professionals.” While the themes speak especially to adult audiences, the absurd situations and sales pitches escalating into acrobatics also captivate children. The performance includes physical comedy, hand balancing, diabolo juggling, and acrobatics.
